An employment service refers to that company which places job seekers into vacant jobs. As an employment service, it reaches out to three major clients: the job seekers, employers, and recruitment organizations.

What is needed before one goes into employment service? A major requirement in doing employment services in Australia for example, is a license. Take note that licenses granted will expire on 30 June 2009. Interested employment service organizations can apply for a Job Placement Licence (JPL) until the end of November 2008. New licenses for employment service issued after this time will have a full 6 months to deliver job placement services.

Other countries outside of Australia have their own requirements for an employment service license.
